LOCKHEED MARTIN AWARDS ION CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION

Eden Prairie, MN: ION Corporation received a Certificate of Appreciation recognizing our support of the GOES-R GLM satellite program for Lockheed Martin. ION was presented the award for on-site mechanical engineering and NASA certified technician support. ION is providing spaceflight engineering, fabrication and test services for the Geostationary Lightning Mapper (GLM) assembly on the GOES-R satellite program. Turn-key operational support is provided to ION’s NASA customers and is a vital part of the company’s operation.
